Joe Guariglia

Partner and Founder

Prior to founding Prism Partners International in 2013, Joe Guariglia held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Shared Services for TPG Global, LLC, a leading international Private Equity firm. Since 2008, Joe focused on transforming TPG from a “start-up” to a “growth” organization, establishing policies, processes and procedures to standardize and simplify the operations allowing for future growth. His senior management role focused on consolidation and accounting, treasury, technology (infrastructure and applications), human resources, compensation, operational risk control, real estate and travel. Joe leveraged his long history of leadership and management to empower and engage his global teams across the Americas, Europe and Asia to execute on the strategies and goals of TPG.   

From 2001 to 2008, Joe held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Reporting for Credit Suisse. Joe spent considerable time with the Executive Board, CEO, CFO and CAO to execute on the strategic initiatives of Credit Suisse. During his career at Credit Suisse, Joe lived in New York and Switzerland, and worked extensively in the UK, Singapore and India, giving him a unique perspective on international cultures and operations. His role at Credit Suisse focused on external reporting, consolidation, Swiss regulatory and deferred compensation. 

Joe began his career with KPMG in New York and Tokyo, where he focused on the Financial Services industry, particularly the Investment Banking sector. 

Joe serves on the Board of Directors of Studio South Holdings, LLC, a management company of film and production studios based in Charlotte, N.C., where he provides expertise and experience in finance, operations and leadership to assist this growth company expand both domestically and internationally.

Joe also serves on the BYU Marriott School, School of Accountancy Board of Advisors, where he provides expertise, experience and advice for the school's curriculum and to its students.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
